No AI

I have no real idea of where the development of AI and AI systems is headed or what this will all look like in the future.

But I do know it is not okay for artists' work to be stolen and fed to these systems, who then regurgitate a repetitive mashup of all they've taken without permission or consent. And it is also not okay for people to be using these systems, generating hundreds of images, and then selling them for a profit. ArtStation should have no part in allowing or promoting that and should take a definite and hard stance against it.

ArtStation is where it is today thanks to the artists that built it and continue to build it day after day. To ignore them would be to spit in their face.

True human-made art still has and always will have a place in this world. And I hope one of those places is ArtStation.
